Music Video

I chose to do a music video that is not serious at all. I chose to do Ylvis's The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?). This video starts out acting like it may be serious then you notice all the costumes and realize it is not. During the singing only parts of the video they use a lot of mid-range and close up shots but when the dancers come in they switch to a lot of long shots. The whole time the camera feels like it is handheld. There is one shot where the singer looks away and when he looks back they do a quick cut to him in the fox costume in the exact same place. This transitions us into the bitterness of the video. The props are the lighting itself because most of the lights they use are visible. It's hard to tell if all the shots were shot on set or if it was all shot outside so I would say its a mixture of both.

A middle eastern dance video. Using a few Middle Eastern Dance students I know create a video of them performing an original dance. Most of the scene will be colorless. Blacks and whites but the dancers costumes will be colorful so they pop. The dancers I have in mind always choose creepy music and have solid isolation's that make their movements look unnatural.

Show what the life of a gamer is like. Male and Female gamers alike and hopefully show that they are not as antisocial as everyone believes they are. Find out what draws them to games.

A group of friends sit down to watch a movie when the characters from the movie start popping up in their daily lives. Eventually a villain from that  movie appears and starts hunting them all down.

Hello: A Quick Bio About Me

             I was born in South Carolina and moved around a bit. Eventually stopping here in South Bend(it has been a 7 year stop) I used to be a computer science major but then changed to New Media with an concentration on Informatics. I ultimately decided to do this because the programs I was creating in Computer Science was not the kind of programming I wanted. I wanted to create things that normal people can use and have fun with. If I had the time and infinite money I would want to help make video games. I think Video Games are the combination of all the arts and slowly people are starting to see them as a true art form and not just a toy for kids. I think that has to do with the generations who grew up them finally coming to an age where their voices are heard and creativity are seen.
